Thanks to your donations What Would Bri Do has been able to donate to many individuals and organizations in need in BriAnna’s memory since it was formed in 2013.
2017 - This year we assisted Big Brothers Big Sisters with security for their new building.
2016 - WWBD worked with the City of Sartell to place an Angel of Hope in the new Lake Francis Town Square Development. The Angel of Hope is a sculpture of a beautiful angel with its wings spread, face gazing heavenward. The memorial is based off of the philosophical book, “The Christmas Box” by Richard Paul Evans. The book tells a story of a mother grieving at the base of an angel. The first angel was placed in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since the placement of that angel there have been many placed around the United States with approximately seven residing in Minnesota. This angel will be placed where individuals from Sartell and surrounding areas can come together to grieve the loss of their child. A webpage was developed for individuals to purchase a paver, tree, bench or swing to be placed near the Angel of Hope in memory of their loved one. For information on these items please visit www.sartellmn.com/city-donations. In 2016, WWBD will be awarding one Sartell High School senior a $500 scholarship and one $500 scholarship to a Big Brother Big Sister to further their education.
2015 - Proceeds went to a local church to create a GaGa Ball Pit for the youth of the community. Money was donated towards cochlear implants for two young girls. A sound system was purchased for the local Girl Scouts for their events & a local college student was given a donation to purchase a stethoscope to help advance her studies. Walk for Animals & Big Brothers Big Sisters, along with several other local community members and organizations, also benefited because of your generous donations. WWBD distributed approximately $4000 in 2015.
2014 - Proceeds went to two $500 scholarships for students at Sartell High School who are involved in community volunteering, fabric to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN to make scarves for the Disabled American Vets, a sound system for the Sartell Community Education Dance Program and many other smaller donations in Sartell and surrounding communities. WWBD distributed approximately $4600 in 2014.
