Brenda Bollig joined the WWBD Board in 2018 after meeting Tami through a mutual friend. She had attended both the Candlelight Vigil and the Rays of Hope Walk in memory of her brother, Eric and volunteered to help wherever she was needed. Eric passed away at the age of 17 in a drunk driving accident. He had been drinking at a Homecoming Party and dropped off some friends but never made it home himself. Brenda personally witnessed her family fall apart after Eric's passing and her parents eventually divorced.

Brenda graduated from Central Lakes College with a degree in Business Management and Retail Sales. She has worked at Stearns County in the Human Services Department since 2011 and was previously at DHS for 16 years. She has 5 years of experience with the Buckman Area Lions Club, another non-profit, as the secretary/treasurer.

Brenda is married to Scott and together they have 4 children. She states "I Love to help others and making people smile. I love animals, my family and traveling. I love the outdoors, sunshine and flowers. I believe in choosing to be a positive role model". She also states that she would love to see the WWBD dream of building a grief lodge in Central Minnesota come true and would take pride in knowing that she played a small part in that success. Brenda truly believes that no one should suffer alone in their grief journey.
