Healing Hearts of Suicide Loss

Compassionate Friends
When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.
Bereaved Parents Group
Parents who have lost a child(ren) to death
Losing a child to death is unique from other losses and can cause feelings of isolation and hopelessness.
The purpose of this support group is to connect parents who have experienced this type of loss in an effort to lessen their pain in a safe, sharing environment.
Every other Tuesday @ 6pm at The Waters Church in Sartell, MN

Events
Angel of Hope Candlelight Vigil
December 6th Annually at the Sartell Community Center, Sartell, MN. A small service will start indoors at the Sartell Community Center at 6:30 pm with the vigil taking place at the base of the Angel at approximately 7 pm. Families will be provided a white flower to place in memory of their loved one. If the weather is too cold the whole event will be held indoors and individuals can choose to go to the Angel of Hope if they desire. Light refreshments will be served following the vigil. Remember everyone is a child of someone so you can attend in memory of your child, friend, neighbor or your family.
Rays of Hope Walk
On the first Saturday of October, annually, What Would Bri Do, Inc. will host their Annual Rays of Hope Walk. This walk will start from the Angel of Hope at Lake Francis in Sartell and will be packed with fun filled family activities at the Sartell Community Center before the start of the walk. The loss of a child or loved one is very difficult and no two people grieve the same way. The Angel of Hope Statue, which is nestled along the shores of Lake Francis in Sartell, is a place where individuals from Central Minnesota can come together to grieve the loss of their child or loved one. Registration will start at 8:30 am, Family Activities will be held from 9 am - 10 am, Remembrance Ceremony will start at 10 am at the Angel of Hope, and the walk will begin at 10:30 am - If it rains the walk will take place in the Community Center. Remembrance Signs will be available to purchase. These signs will have a photo of your loved one along with a memorial message. A sign can be purchased in memory of anyone.
